
Kelowna Rockets athletic therapist headed to Memorial Cup
Call them the core four.
No, we are not talking about the Toronto Maple Leafs, whose core four of Austin Matthews, Mitch Marner, William Nylander, and John Tavares failed to get the NHL franchise out of the second round of the NHL playoffs.
When the puck drops on the Kia Memorial Cup next Friday in Kamloops, four of the top athletic therapists in the Western Hockey League will be there.
Among them will be Kelowna Rockets Scott Hoyer, who was invited by Blazers’ Head Equipment Manager Colin ‘Toledo’ Robinson to use his expertise when four teams, the WHL, QMJHL, OHL, and the host Kamloops Blazers compete for the coveted title.
