‘No place I’d rather be’ – Remy Koch
The drywall in the Koch family basement never stood a chance.
Before Remy Koch was a Kelowna Rocket, before he knew what it was like to dress for a WHL game at 15, he and his older brother Cash were already playing hockey in their Calgary home’s basement.
There were no skates. No ice. And apparently, very few rules.
“We had a little rink in the basement,” Koch told RocketFAN. “We’d just rollerblade and stuff in the basement, full contact, which Cash loved to do.”
